Amazon have just announced their new Amazon Kindle Fire, a tablet PC much like the Apple iPad but at a fraction of the price
For US $199 will have a colour screen a version of Android software and have browser, email, ability to watch movies & much more. It significantly undercuts the price of the iPad which needs some competition to bring the price of that device down.
Due to launch in US on 15th November with no clear dates as to whether it will be launched here but you can be sure it will be available on the auction sites soon after!
