Pass the Parcel Courier NZ: Cheapest Courier Service in NZ?

Pass the Parcel is a new courier delivery service offered for Kiwis with prices starting from $5 for a local courier delivery of small item.

This is very competitive against NZ Post's Courier Post where you can get Ready to Go Courier envelopes from NZ Post Shops.

With Pass the Parcel you need to order the plastic envelopes/packs from www.passtheparcel.co.nz in advance
You can't just send the parcel in your own box, you have to use their free envelopes or pay for their boxes.

This is the only real delay as this can take some time before it is sent out so if you have an urgent parcel you have to wait for this delivery. However it only takes 1-2 days for these to arrive.

So pre order these envelopes if you send parcels frequently. They seem to offer one of the best deals currently in New Zealand.

To save the exorbitant service fee ticketek are charging buy in a group as it is $19 service fee per transaction so the more tickets you buy the cheaper it works out for each ticket.

I can't understand how tocketek can get away with charging so much for a service fee and complaints have to be made. The fans are of course going to agree to the cost as they just want the tickets but that doesn't justify the fee. An enquiry should be made into how they can charge so much for that fee!

FREE USA Visa Waiver ESTA: American Visa. Visiting or transitting US in next 2 years? QUICK! Sign up now for FREE Visa costs 14USD from 8th Sept!!

Be quick with this as it ends on 7th SEPT!! From 8th Sept you have to pay $14 USD.

Since January 20th 2010, it is now mandatory for all passengers visiting the US under the Visa Waiver Programme to apply in advance for travel authorisation, from the US Customs and Border Protection's Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA). 

This includes people with passports from New Zealand / Australia & many other countries

Once granted, an ESTA authority is valid for 2 years (or less if the passport expires during this period).

Apply for your ESTA at least 72 hours before travel. In most circumstances a response is received within seconds, though for a small minority of passengers the decision may take up to 72 hours. If an ESTA is denied then the passenger must obtain a visa for their journey.

Until 8th September 2010 you can obtain your ESTA free of charge by visiting the US Government website

From 8th Sept it will cost $14 USD! A bit of a rip off for what was previously free! 

Hence if you're planning on travelling in next 2 years through or to the USA get this visa now & safe yourself money!
